This is a fully autonomous wall plastering, rendering and painting robot. It’s being developed by Okibo, an Israeli robotics technology company.

It’s mechanical arm moves up and down on a vertical track to cover the full height of the wall. The track sits on a wheeled platform allowing it to move along automatically.

It uses AI, 3D scanners, geo-positioning, and motion sensors to capture the site layout, plan its work, navigate around and plaster, render or paint the wall. The robot can even pick up plaster and change tools on its own.

Unlike human workers, Okibo’s robot can operate 24 hours a day without a lunch break.

It is currently undergoing on site testing as a subbie and is expected to be available for purchase in early 2021.
